Description
More Ranger art! Expect a lot of it incoming.
Anyone remember the old original of this piece?
The ride of choice for landing Isles Protectorate Ranger forces, this dropship is capable of transporting a combat mech or vehicle, along with a considerable number of infantry or power armor.
It also comes heavily armed, with its massive quad array of particle cannons. These weapons are rarely effective in space due to common anti laser/particle defense fields and dispersion over range, but on land there are more abundant vulnerable targets. Provided air dominance is established, this dropship will often loiter in the combat zone, acting as a support fire gunship to the troops it lands.

Wonderful design. We're a couple of decades out from technology like that.
