A 90 minute ship design exercise done in one of my livestreams by request. Started with the ship in the farground, then chopped it up to make the carrier.
A large ship carrying troops, vehicles, mechs and supplies moves through space with escorts. A small dropship launches, large enough to transport several vehicles or a mech.
Very cool! I like how you used the different shades of grey to make a good speed painting. I wish I could have seen the livestream. How many different shades would you say you used, 15?
Many more, I didn't try to work within a limited pallet. Any indication of limited shades is artifacting caused by overlay brushing and levels adjustments, along with certain other brushes effects.
