Three Elementals advance along a corridor in an industrial zone. Packs of strange soldiers aggressively close with them, showing little regard for their own lives. More lethal means will need to be employed.
The near Ele has a preference for heavy loadouts. Full armor, conventional weapons, and a developing specialty in particle manipulation grant her impressive ranged offense and solid defense at the cost of mobility.
The middle Ele is the predictably unpredictable type. She likes blades, being able to form them with varying properties for the task. This also gives her an edge in manipulating her defensive shielding, being able to strengthen or minimize it where and as needed.
The far girl is a specialist at thermally manipulating her shields. From non lethal attacks such giving soldiers heat stroke and jamming their weapons, to escalated forms like a burning wave of energy, she is very versatile offensively. Eventually this skill will develop into being able to melt through tank armor.
Personally, I'd either get rid of the teeth-like hexagonal plates over the visor- make it look less threatening, for peacekeeping operations- or EMPHASIZE them (maybe paint shark mouths onto the helmet), so the enemy will find them more intimidating. Cool design, overall.
As a former military service member, I consider practicality (usefulness in combat situations) to BE style. As an anime fan, my taste varies between two extremes: either make it practical (and thus, like something a real military will use), or act as Nagai Go does and throw sanity to the wind. Taking half-measures will just disappoint everyone (see 'Gundam SEED' and 'Gundam SEED Destiny', which EPIC FAIL as super robot and real robot anime).
The teeth are there because I don't like the look of a clean visor, I didn't even think of teeth when I first did it No need for them to look friendly either, these aren't good for anything but blowing stuff up. So it's a mix of me being a generally conservative person, but aiming for certain aesthetics.
