Kristen Marx in her Elemental. In the future I'll have to work out an defined look for the progression of Elemental armor designs during it's development in the story, but shown is Marx employing her earlier and more crude abilities.
One of the easiest offensive employments of energy shielding is to run the field extremely hot and pass it through the enemy. Shown is a pillar field being extended, appearing as a beam of fire. Also on display is "skating", sliding on a blade of shielding, using the rule of cool technique

It looks like the left hand controls the beam? But the hand could use a cooler "pose" in my opinion. Maybe more light because it's the source of the beam so the hand would be really close and reflect more?

The way this armor was designed sort of in a way outlines the shape of Briareos from Appleseed:Ex Machina, though with a more realistic, lethal and agile looking design. The colors with the sparks having a red-ish orange sheen with the cool cerulean blue for the back unit make a simplistic, yet dramatic and tense, atmosphere. I think that this is a truly magnificent and powerful piece of art, very impressive.
