Here's a fun one. Being the 4th or so version of this character illustration, it had been overhauled during each major change in the Contact art workflow. Happy to say this will be the final version.

Why is the transparent DeviantART logo plastered on this? It wasn't on before, and I should know because I favored this a long time ago and I've never favored anything with the site's logo plastered on it since I started favoring on here.
Does the transparent DeviantART logo eventually disappear, or once it's plastered, it's permanent?

My Contact work is for an RPG that hasn't yet released (but will soon), and we keep encountering art thieves taking these images and editing out my copyright marks and notices. The only choices were to take them down entirely or place watermarks on them. I don't like watermarks myself either, but I know some people would rather be able to see them like this than not at all.
So yeah, I feel your pain :D
