Contact - Combat Drone by Shimmering-Sword Contact - Combat Drone by Shimmering-Sword
Woot, super happy Contact mecha time!
Here's the Roach multi purpose combat drone. 4 all terrain wheeled legs and 2 manipulator arms give it great versatility in motion and interaction. A 25mm cannon provides threatening anti armor potential and a LMG allows it to hunt and suppress infantry.

Contact designs are not for personal or commercial use, no derivative works please.

Something like this would look cool with some oblong rollers/treads. Yes, I know it would limit terrain versatility, but I'm thinking more along the lines of use in buildings and ships.

Aren't the wheels on it's feet same same idea?

I'm confused by the statement on the bottom of the description. Are you saying I can't do anything with this image? I am wanting to practice my 3D modeling and I really like this design and would love to model it. I don't see how there could be any legal issues since it's for educational use.

That was to help protect the artwork before the book made it to publication. Now that it's been printed you should be fine to use Contact artwork for personal practice.

Simple, elegant, practical. I rwally like your use of highlights to bring out the contours, as well.

I prefer power armor or mechs when it comes to controllable robots, but this is rather good.

Do keep this up would you kindly?
