Contact - Aqua Power Armor by Shimmering-Sword Contact - Aqua Power Armor by Shimmering-Sword
Here's the submersible model of the Omega agencies powered armor suit. It's main difference is in the water jets it has on various pieces of the suit, allowing it to move around with ease rather than be stuck slogging it on the ocean floor.

"Sir, you want me to drill... that?"

I like how much color there is in most of the stuff from the "Terror from the Deep" expansion. Really striking. And yeah, Big Daddy would get owned against some REAL armor.

I can practically see the Bouncer Big Daddy standing in front of him...with demands to man up, and gain more muscle mass.

Wall in my way? I drill it
Locked door in my way? I drill it
Alien in my way? i drill it

Not a problem in the world that he can't solve with his drill.

His Team Nickname should be "Dentist" 'cause he loves to drill

Did you try to use bolder lines than usual, or is it because it's "Just a concept"?
It just seems like the line are bolder.
I like the design alot though the helmet seem a bit thick.
Quality work!

The Contact RPG art style calls for inks which aren't typical in my other work.

Re-reading my comment, it sounds pretty rude.
I just meant to ask wether you liked to use this kind linework or not. )

Just regular diving suits for reference (you know, where big daddies come from too), and existing power armor from the games previous books.

I just had nostalgia hit me in the gut. That trigger assembly on the drill looks like one of the water pistols I played with as a kid! :D

It is just me or that thing in his hand really resembling to a Vibro-blade from the old X-com game 'Terror from the Deep'?

I think that's the point; Contact's new source book is based off of TFTD if the other artwork is to lead to any conclusion.

I has a massive drill called a blade? :D

There are tons of Xcom references in Contact, I didn't designs the guns myself though so I can't say there.

Looks cool, again, i love these visorless helmets.
Are they supposed to be sonar vision? Because they still have a flashlight integrated...

Just camera vision, sonar is still a bit abstract for people to percieve easily.

It could be transfered in optical display for ease of orientation. Like a high resolution ultrasonic picture, i´m sure you´ve seen them from family´s or friends pregnancy.

Haha, and I'd call that a good case, those things are extremely vague. When rapid perception is required it's best to see things in native vision. Sonar vision or penetrating radar could be a cool secondary vision mode though. Contact is pretty light and bubbly on it's cyberpunk, no technology shifts that are too hard to wrap your head around.
