It's called VTOL, Vertical Take Off and Landing. They can rotate.

But how about one that couldn't rotate?
Is it a helicopter, or a plane? Or is it someone who just got a llama badge for acting dumb (I.E: me)

If they are shown straight forward it 'could' be a plane, if they are shown full vertical it 'could' be a heli, but if they're shown at an angle like this one it's almost guaranteed to be a tilt engine vtol.
