Part of last nights LiveStream, stretching my mecha muscle.

Bio Synthetic Battle Mechs.
Electro elastic ribbon bundles provide primary locomotion in place of the common hydraulic motor. They provide a wide range of motion from a single joint, allowing very fluid and human-like motion. The bundles are resilient to damage, only loosing the power of severed fibers, where a motor might be paralyzed by such a hit.
While stick and throttle controls with aid of nav AIs can allow a standard pilot to control a biomech, full synchronized motion can only be achieved through a neural link. Siphoning off nerve impulses to the pilots body, the mech becomes an extension of the pilot.
Capable of terrifyingly effective close combat, biomechs are the king of urban warfare.

AH! ive been looking for a nimble movement system! thank you for the idea! Hydraulics just seem so last century if you know what I mean lol xD. Would these bundles act much like the muscles of a human body? .Btw if you are looking for a critique, the feet look a bit off for the function of movement, I mean don't nimble mechs such as this need at least bigger feet for more surface area of stability? Or is there a hidden funciton in the picture in which each toe of the "foot" has a grooved spike or at least adhesive gel that sticks to any surface?

The small feet are purely aesthetic in design, they would indeed need to be bigger to function properly.

While I hold this sketch and design in very high regard, I must express my enjoyment of the apparent "prancing" action exhibited by this mech as juxtaposed with its cruel, calculating appearance and dual-weilding of PDWs.
