My 3rd piece done for :iconmr-balk: ~mr-balk, like the others it was very enjoyable to work on and see completed.

Balk provides me with photos of custom minis with extremely well done paint jobs, along with spec sheets gives me all the info I need to churn out a nice painting.

The Warthog battlemech weighs 85tons and mounts 2 RAC5's, 2 ER M Lasers, and an UAC10 to "top" everything off :) Gonna ruin your day in a hail of gunfire.

so how does the autocannon on top of its head work hardpoint wise.. if its anything bigger than an AC5 it probably doesn't fit in the CT...

Yeah, both unofficial designs implemented by the mektek team. The visual is more similar but the weapons are not the same, so it's back to coincidences.

No, he's right. that's a Pitbull. Warthog didn't have a centerline AC, just...realllly big ACs on the Arms and side torsos.

My point is that mektek's work is not official. It doesn't matter if the designs are similar, if someone makes them self a mini that is also not official they can call it what they want. Warthog is the name I was told to give it, and I've also seen other fans calling this design a Warthog. So out there are fans who call this tabletop mini a Warthog and that's good enough for me.
