Another for my list of battletech firsts, my first original mech designed for them.

It's an original design of mine, but meant to be inspired / derived from 2 old designs, the names of which I forget. It is an official piece of BT art though, so you could say it is an existing design now :)

I just looked up the stats on this guy and it made me sad. It's such a crappy old mech, but your design is solid. If were ever get to see the Mechwarrior reboot I would totally play around with this guy based on his looks alone. I mean, lets be honest, there are some mech designs out there where I just look at them and say, "what was this guy thinking when he drew this crap?" Just google "urban mech" and you'll know what I'm talking about. I mean is this a mech from battletech or an alien invader from the twilight zone?

Yeah, the Urbanmech is kinda like the retarded little brother of battletech. You kinda can't hate it. But I was browsing on the battletech wiki and found a mech called the Blitzkrieg. With a name like that you'd think it would be bad ass. But, as luck would have it, it's probably one of the dumbest looking mechs I've ever seen. What are these people thinking when they design them? And, who's the person that receives that art from the artist and looks at it and honestly says, "Yeah that's a cool design. We'll take it."?!?!??!!?!
