Yeah, when I was still playing MW4 I remember the deal, Assault mech, ranged weapons, jumpjets. Those poor pilots that tried anyting else Though sometimes I would get in a speed maxed hunchback and tickle Daishis to death with a LBX20
Oh, I've done that some times. But mostly I did stay in my Tin Can. Some large ER-Lasers in the arms and a set of M-Pulse in the torso. Nice sharpshooter. Somehow I ended up annoying the hell outta my mates
Yeah it just makes the game to boring sometimes though the mountain maps are much better usually. On that desert map I used a loaded Jenner IIC with 3 CSTRK 6s and 2 ER Medium Lasers and just harassed the damn Kodiaks that keps lobbing LRMs. I ended up being the top player in a Light Mech. I felt so awesome I saved a screen shot of the points screen. Props to the guys who boldly go out in power armor as well, they can be really effective sometimes.
Awwww, I quite like the look of the Battle Cobra, but that said I do cling to the hope that the ComStar reverse engineered version would be more angular like the Black Hawk-KU rather than the rounded clan version.
Gundam was my first introduction to giant mechas on television from when I was younger so I have a sentimental loyalty to it... sort of like Star Wars. Grew up with it but never really grew out of it, always hoping for something newer and better.
How about you what was your first introduction to giant mechs -- was it something like Robotech? Or perhaps Transformers maybe?
