Coming in at 6,800 tons, the Gorgon Carrier is designed as an interdictor. Meeting an invasion force as they burn in towards a planet, it can launch up to 18 aerospace fighters and bring heavy forward weapons to bear. With several ventral access hatches (normally used for loading cargo), it can also be rigged to drop ordinance as a massive space bomber.
This is very good! So good I wanna draw these kind of ships for my games. I wonder if I contact you so I can learn how to draw ships like this... I can only make Top views
Not sure why you said this wasn't balanced... dude this a pan view of the ship...wondering common sense wasn't that common...LOL
To learn to draw in perspective you simply "do it". If all you draw are top views you will never learn to do anything else. All you need to do is change
And Cleric wasn't critiquing my work, just making a joke about me being too good.
This is excellent!
And I find it both funny and a bit peevish that they're finally coming out with ship designs (stat-wise) that mimic ones I've already created in Heavy Metal Aero. Like Battle Armor Small Craft and DropShips and now a mid-range carrier dropship for the IS. 'Bout time, frankly.
I've always been into ship designs and I think you may have inspired me to make some
Can't wait to see more stuff from ya.
Honestly all of your ships look REALLY good. >3
I'd love to see what kinda Battle Armor you could cook up for the Lyrans. >3
I see similarities in rough shape, but you can draw those with a lot of things. For example, Serenity has a thick, rounded midsection, slender neck holding the bridge and engines set out to the side as well as that Kestrel, but you wouldn't say they're 1-1. Likewise the Gorgon is much blockier, has a large number of guns instead of a nice smooth nose and has small missile pods on the winglets where the Kestrel has big, blocky engines - the Gorgon's are at the back.
